Elaine was the greatest sister and paralegal who ever lived.
She fought cancer for 8 hard years. She was the strongest and toughest person who I have ever known.
Elaine was my right hand in the law office for 27 years.
She will be missed everyday.

Elaine Spiva Watson – Savannah – age 59.
Elaine, died January 25, 2012 at 10:05am after an 8 year long fight with cancer. Mrs. Watson was born in Atlanta, Ga., daughter of the late Earnest E. Spiva and late Vivian Spiva Williams.
Elaine was a co-founder and board member of The Justice For Children Foundation.
Survivors include her husband, Robert M. Watson, Jr.; her daughter, Michelle Woods of Savannah; son, Brian E. Woods and partner, Kelly Bruce of Florida; brothers, Ed Spiva and his wife Sabrina of Savannah; Howard Spiva and his wife, Kelly of Savannah; her aunt, Angela Sherman of Savannah; her uncle, Raymond Tarpley and his wife, Sandra of Savannah; many cousins, and her grandson, Logan Alexander Woods and many nieces and nephews.
The family will accept visitors Thursday from 6pm to 8pm. A Memorial will be held at Gamble Funeral Service on Friday at 2:30pm.
