High School student / relative / employee~ Marketing assitant

Friends:

My niece, Rachel, is coming to stay with me for about 6 weeks this summer. I have a couple hours a day worth of work for her, but I'm looking for work for her to do with the other attorneys or other professional offices. She's a senior in high school; already taking college courses.

Good kid, great personality, quick learner and is very organized.

Please let me know if you have any upcoming projects which she can help out with. She's trying to earn money for senior year, and a trip to Japan with her class next Spring.

THE LEGENDARY BATTLE OF ATLANTA WORLD KARATE CHAMPIONSHIP

Hello Friends:

As part of our karate class and training at the West Broad Street YMCA we occasionally attend karate tournaments.

The "Savannah Sharks" karate class, is a non-profit venture to train inner city children and no fees are charged by us.

This year some of our students have competed and won trophies in tournaments in Wren Georgia and Claxton Georgia.

We are proud to announce as of April 2011 that Kentia Jenkins has started her training as a legal assistant.

She celebrated her one year anniversary with the SPIVA Law Group as our receptionist on March 30, 2011.

Kentia has eight years of experience in administrative, clerical and customer service experience.

Her warm personality and great attention to detail is a great asset to our team.

She is currently working on a degree in Legal Studies at South College University.

We are proud to have her on our team!

Caroline Shaffer

We are honored and excited that Caroline has joined the Spiva Law Team!

Caroline has five years experience in customer service and retail management where she developed the skills to effectively manage team members.

In January 2010 she moved from Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania to Savannah, Georgia to pursue a new career path.

Caroline has spent the last year and a half completing the Paralegal Program at Savannah Technical College where she will graduate with honors.

NEW INDUSTRY FOR GEORGIA AND SAVANNAH. Mystery surrounding the large, white domes solved 25,000 metric tons of pine wood pellets will be shipped every two and a half weeks once the plant is in full operation, scheduled to happen later this month. Orwig In one year, Georgia Biomass is expected to produce 750,000 metric tons of wood pellets, all of which will make their way through one of the two white domes visible to all in the Savannah area. www.wtoc.com/Global/story.asp?S=14557056

Happy Memorial Day weekend to my son, Gene Spiva.

Gene flew out today, Sunday, May 29, 2011, for Iraq.

Gene is a Recon Scout at 2nd Brigade Combat Team, 82nd Airborne Division.

His bravery and sacrifice are beyond my comprehension.

My wish is for him to return home safely.

I hope he looks for an edge and does not hesitate in his mission.

I miss him already

Peter has over 20 years of litigation experience trying personal injury cases.

He graduated from Hofstra University and St. John’s University School of Law.

He passed both the New York and New Jersey bar exams and is admitted in the State of New York and in the United States District Court for the District of New jersey. Formerly a solo practitioner in New York and in-house counsel at the Kemper Insurance Companies, Peter is also a member of the New York State Bar Association.
