SLG and what it means to me: Strength, Service, Results

To recognize what working at the Spiva Law Group means to this writer requires one to consider “from whence he come”. The atypical reader may search the mind and ponder, while those who know the author’s history need not repetition. I stem from the lightest of gravest of paths, and have accomplished more then most thought possible. All this, due to the gratuitous “positives” of the Spiva Law Group, herinafter referred to as “SLG”.

SLG represents a congenial, understanding and familial atmosphere that is made obvious from the initial client meeting. The family of SLG depends on the success they have for their client. The success of SLG is entwined with that of its clients. This requires great strength, service, and results to keep the natural order.

The Spiva Law Group encompasses strength, and tries to instill this concept from the onset of employment. Meticulous attention to every facet, from a cases’ inception to close demonstrates the dedication and high standards required to maintain the AV rating it has thus achieved. From the outset of a claim, the insurer is placed on notice that their actions and election to insure in Georgia has placed them on notice that they have accepted all “duels”, and that they now face a true “gunslinger”. Our firm requires, as the law provides, an affidavit of coverage, to which a printout of coverage is unacceptable. Time and time again, improper and insufficient responses have remained in question, only to result in subsequent disclosure of umbrella policies and additional coverage to be discovered in suit, much to the chagrin of insurers.

Service, while often not obvious to the untrained eye, is yet another facet accompanying the strength of SLG. Many times it is not ripe to disclose the tactics of the firm to the client upon request. For example, making the appropriate disclosure to the client often requires a response from the insurer before the appropriate response is made. An attorney cannot reasonably discuss the feasibility of going forward without knowing coverage. For this reason, coupled with the need to minimize the doubt, stress, and concern of the client, face-to-face meetings are the preferred outlets for disclosure. While many firms elect to reschedule appointments, SLG makes every effort to make the first appointment, a “firm” appointment.

Results are the true measure of greatness, and SLG has proven time and time again that such are the reason for clients to return and refer their own family to the firm. A client, knowing that the fate of their own family lies in the hands of another trusted family, who also will reap the benefits of success, is swayed in the direction of the familial atmosphere.

Family, to me, is the true moniker and reason for success in the SLG. Those who aren’t members of the family, wish to be, those who recognize its greatness, want to be, and those who need congenial counsel, seek out such representation.

Past clients enjoy being able to “recognize” that Mr. Spiva’s sister or wife once helped them, and are overjoyed to learn that the son is now handling their claim. Long-term employees or affiliates also share I this family outfit. I have gained much foresight thus far, and look forward to learning more.
